The GSRC Peer Educators are important facilitators of conversations around gender and sexuality for students on campus. The Peers work towards upholding the mission of the GSRC in envisioning a Princeton University community of practice that affirms, uplifts, and celebrates women, femme, trans, and queer people and that actively resists sexism, cissexism, heteronormativity and other intersecting forms of oppression on campus and beyond.This group of students encompasses a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, including gender and sexuality.

  • educating your peers on Gender and Sexuality issues through panels and workshops on campus, and conducting occasional off-campus trainings groups as well

  • serving as supportive and accessible resources for students with questions or concerns

  • informing the larger University community to issues of homophobia, cissexism, mysogynoir, transphobia, heterosexism, and stereotyping of different marginalized genders and sexualities.

  • being available to be reached throughout the year as a support resource

Apart from their role as a peer educator leader for New College West, they are an intern at the GSRC (where they work on the Q'nnections program) and a literary director for Arch and Arrow Literary Collective.     My name is Paul-Louis Biondi (they/them) and I am a third-year in the Comparative Literature department with certificates in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Humanistic Studies. On campus, I am involved with Pride Alliance (an undergraduate organization dedicated to queer advocacy on campus), Mock Trial, the University Art Museum. My goal as a Peer Educator is to create curricula around pressing queer issues on campus and around the world and create culturally competent communities at Princeton.     I grew up in Gainesville, Florida prior to moving to Wisconsin for my undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I competed on the varsity swimming & diving team. There, I became interested in chemistry and biochemistry, doing research in biocatalysis. I now am a Ph.D. candidate in Professor Robert Knowles' research lab studying synthetic organic chemistry. Outside of work, I enjoy collecting records, rock climbing, and watching science fiction movies/TV.
